The Chandra Levy Case May Finally Come to an End

Remember about eight years ago when all the media talked about was Gary Condit and Chandra Levy? Did he kill her when she threatened to expose their affair? Or was it an attack by a psycho who follows women joggers in the park? Turns out to be the latter. Police have a man, Ingmar Guandique, who is already in custody for attacking two other female joggers. It turns out that his DNA matches some of the evidence the police found. The authorities aren't being any more specific than that, probably because it took them so long and they don't want another media feeding frenzy. Last time the media cost Gary Condit the Primary in California, though he did win money from three news outlets in court, and sadly, 9-11 happened and wiped the case off of the front pages forever.

I hope this gives her parents closure and they get what they want, a life sentence for her killer instead of the death penalty. Her father says that he wants the guy to suffer for life.

I personally witnessed the Condit's "Disposal for Hire" service in 1977 while in enlisted US Army MI and was sworn to secrecy about it, since the CIA figured he'd try to infiltrate Congress with it's subsequent blackmailing abilities (Tell you something?) They sometime operate independently & I have the feeling that's what's behind Gary's current "Not a suspect," but AN arrest is "Imminent." I really hope for a subpoena soon. Or, if they frame the Salvadorian (His specialty-in-advance ability to research government data bases, as he plans his hit, etc.) then it's going to be a "Tidy-up" like the Anthrax thing. Is the new evidence the new DNA with Jonbenet? http://www.rickhyatt.freeservers.com

I have no idea. That's a lot for me to swallow, Rick. I honestly don't know a whole lot about Condit's past but he did mention through his PR person that he is planning on writing a book, so we'll see. As for the attacker, not much info on him either. If you find something, let me know.
