Parkour Puppy

Parkour, or free running, is a kind of street gymnastics. It's Ninja artistry in an urban landscape without the black clothing. This will give you some idea of what they do-

Well, guess what! Anything people can do, puppies can do better, HA.

Holy crap - do we share a brain or something? I'm totally fascinated with Parkour, I can't believe how incredible some of this stuff is. It makes me wonder how we all lost so much functionality with our physicality.

That dog is crazy - how do you think they taught him to do that? I'm so neurotic, all I could think of was what about his poor back and hips??!!! LOL - Very cool video!!

Like minds..... I should just make that the name of the blog. Anyhoo, I have been fascinated with gymnastics since I was little. I ended up doing yoga for years but my first love was jumpy somersaulting madness. Olga Korbut, Nadia Comaneci, on and on..

As for the dog, pitbulls are high energy, even more highly reward driven and intelligent. Combine that with a trainer that makes a point of rewarding things that are fun and you have a whole lot of awesome. That dog was just having a good time.

It's so much better than watching those awful sad dog commercials that bombard our TVs all the time.

AND... did I tell you I was a gymnast for about 10 years????? Olga and Nadia were my idols - my room was covered in their posters....

I didn't like Mary Lou Retton because she was too boxy and lacked elegance (I took ballet too, but not for as long).

It figures. But you weren't a cheerleader, right? I think we discussed this on the gasm.

And I feel you, Karen. But it looks like he loves it, no?
