Did Michael Jackson Rip Off Bob Fosse?

World of Wonder found this video of Bob Fosse playing the Snake in the Grass from what I presume to be a film adaptation of The Little Prince. Your jaw will drop. This I swear. It is unreal and since MJ was a child in a grown up's body, it is safe to presume that he saw this at some point. You have to watch it. Even the short pants and white spats resemble Jackson's outfit in the Billie Jean video. It's uncanny.

Steve McNair Dead At 36

This is getting ridiculous. By the time this summer is over every star will be dead. I can name a few people that I wouldn't mind leaving this earth but that's bad karma so I won't (Rush Limbaugh).
Anyhoo, I've beeen following this guy since he first emerged from Alcorn State in 1994. He put up crazy insane numbers at his podunk school, which by the way was founded by former slave owners for newly free men to attend, and was a wee bit upset when he got drafted by the Oilers. He lost the Super Bowl in 2000 to the Rams' Kurt Warner and I hated that game, not just because the Rams won but because the cameras wouldn't stop panning to Warner's ugly ass wife. It looks like a murder-suicide, he was with a 20 year old girl (not his wife) who he was also with a year when she got a DUI. Stellar. I hope his kids are okay, he has four, one of whom plays high school football and is a standout wide receiver.

Michael Jackson Dead At 50

When I first heard that he was rushed to the hospital I thought that he was faking an illness to get out of his contract with London's O2 Arena. There was something in his contract that said that if he had an illness he could keep his advance and be let out of his concert obligations. Well, I was wrong, he has died. It's sad because I have so many mixed emotions about the guy. He probably abused kids, he no doubt had a shitty childhood and he produced music that will be around forever. There is no way to be happy about this and there's no way to overlook his behaviour. Allegedly.

I feel bad for his kids, how can you not? Who is going to take care of them? I hope that he made some decent moves in his will on their part. Please don't let them end up with LaToya or their grandparents.

Are Auctions Becoming a Sign of the Times?

It's no secret that Michael Jackson has financial (I almost wrote facial, ha!) problems, but I have to wonder what, if anything, he's going to have left after this? He is auctioning off everything from the artwork he has bought to the famous white Thriller glove. I am assuming that this is a desperation move because this guy is all about acquiring and holding on to things as long as possible. And talk about bad timing! We're in a recession, obviously, and most people believe that he's a pedophile, and who wants a pervert's belongings?

We'll see how much he raises in the Spring when it all goes down. There are probably still some crazy super fans left. Hopefully they have deep pockets.
